Happy smiles from the girls as they tackle exam fears

Over the years, summer RAD and ISTD examinations have produced excellent results. Exams are what we dance, jump and pirouette towards for that crucial certificate and accreditation. When you picture it that way, all your exam fears turn into happiness.

Exam hair is a special design of tying the hair at the back and is similar to a bun but has more weaves to give that extra sparkle

The "exam hair" as shown, is a high weaved spiral bun tied at the back. Ask your teacher to know more about it. Also known as "kanekalon hair".

The perfect bun is shown here by one of our students. Sometimes many hours can go into getting that special sparkling appearance just right. Note that your teacher or friend will help make sure you look great on the day.

    Julia trained at the Arts Educational School in London; one of the best UK vocational schools.

    Victoria Marr

    Victoria trained at Elmhurst School for Dance and the Royal Ballet School before being asked by Birmingham Royal Ballet Director David Bintley to join the company in 1996.

    Helena Mitchell

    Miss Helena Mitchell is joining the LWAD team this September
    Having trained in Milton Keynes she went on to perform at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Sadlers’ Wells, The Royal Albert Hall and Disneyland Paris.

    Faye Hadley

    Faye has been dancing since a young age, firstly with ballet and tap and later on to freestyle and rock and roll.

    Sarah Chislett
    Sarah trained at The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), London and gained her Licentiate and teaching certificate in Ballet and other dance related subjects.
