Despite the size of the academy, we practice a very personal approach to your or your child’s tuition needs. Teaching and support staff are always on hand or can be contacted by telephone or email to discuss issues and provide practical professional advice and solutions.
The school actively seeks the progression of students through RAD, ISTD and IDTA examination grades. LWAD uses stage performances every two years to enable students to demonstrate their abilities to a wider audience. We collaborate with the Warwickshire Youth Orchestra, being an excellent opportunity for our students to appreciate working with live musicians.
We offer support for children/adults on income support, by agreement, either through staged fee payments or agreed reductions (ask for details).
All teachers of children’s classes have been CRB checked.
A Hands-On policy is in place to enable our staff to correct the posture where appropriate.
We have an inclusive policy towards children/adults with special needs and can usually accommodate your requirements.
We enter and partake in national festivals and you are free to choose whether to come.

I would highly recommend these classes. My son spent 6 years at the school giving him fantastic encouragement and a solid foundation in ballet. He now dances with the Greek National Ballet in Athens which is testimony to the quality of her teaching.

  • Lisa Hall
We have three girls who all joined the school at Pre-Primary. The tuition they have received from the school and the progress they have made through the different stages has been outstanding. We have watched the girls develop such beautiful poise and grace, which has been complimented outside of the school. Testimony to this can be seen in the bi-annual show, a fantastic production and a treasured memory.
