Ballet and Pointe Work

Starting from 2 years and up, our Pre-School sessions are focussed on learning the Ballet basics through creative, story-based classes. We use all sorts of props to enhance the child’s experience.
From Reception onwards we work with the Royal Academy of Dance, RAD, syllabus, together with a vast wealth of teaching knowledge and development exercises. Exams can be taken from Pre-Primary to Grade 8.
Vocational Grades and Pointe Work are introduced at about Grade 4. For the dediicated student there is the option to study additional classes in tandem with the grades. This introduces Pointe Work and helps develop the professional approach required should a student want to progress to a potential dance career.
Adult classes are run to suit all ages and abilities. We have our Silver Swans programme for the mature dancer. There are different levels from beginner to advanced for all our adult learners. Some adults choose to join our vocational and grade classes too.
Teacher Training can be offered for both the RAD and IDTA qualifications
