Modern Jazz

Our pre-School students are introduced to Modern Jazz in the fusion classes to give them a taster of this energetic style.

From ages 5+ we start to work towards the IDTA Contemporary Modern Jazz Exams. These require great core strength and so the ages for their first exam are 6 and up. To help them prepare we give them a broad training on flexibilty, strenght and performance alongside the syllabus content.

Exams can be taken from Preparatory to Advanced 2

Students who gain exceptionally high marks in their exam can compete in the IDTA theatre awards that are held annually with participants from all over the country.

Taster sessions and free pair of shoes on enrolment!

Start your dance classes with confidence. We offer your first lesson for free so you can be sure the class is right before you enrol. On enrolment you can claim a free pair of ballet shoes from our dance equipment shop.
